Little Panthers
This karate program is designed especially for 3 and 4 year olds. Tokyo Joe’s Studios program is vigorously designed in conjunction with experts in the field of education to provide social, physical, emotional, and attitudinal growth.Tokyo Joe’s program works hand and hand with a child's school work, providing improved self-discipline, self-confidence, mental alertness, and goal setting skills.

Dragons
This program is specifically designed for 5 and 6 year olds.Tokyo Joe’s program works hand and hand with a child's school work, providing improved self-discipline, self-confidence, mental alertness, and goal setting skills. It is important for each child to learn to set short-term, intermediate, and long term goals. At Tokyo Joe’s Studios every child’s goal is the black belt. BLACK BELT is a symbol of excellence in martial arts and an important tool for instructors and parents to use for developing desire, tenacity, and for teaching the importance of follow-through in any activity.

Juniors
Comprehensive belt-focused martial arts program tailored to the needs of children aged 7-12. The three words that best describe our program are fun, Fun and FUN, with lots of exercise and character-building added in. Skilled students can join our Panther Demo Team, performing awe-inspiring karate shows before audiences. Special group classes for children as young as 3 (Little Panther, Dragon Programs), featuring fun karate exercises and character building.

Teen Karate
Young people are taught at Tokyo Joe’s Studios of Self Defense that through dedicated work, all worthwhile goals in life are possible.
Our teen program was designed with you in mind. It’s safe, fun to learn and GUARANTEED to make you look and feel better. All of our techniques can be tailored to each individual. We can work around any obstacle or challenge you may have.

Adult Karate
Comprehensive martial arts training for beginners through black belt. The unique Tokyo Joe System combines kempo, kung fu, jiu jitsu, freestyle boxing and more into a complete program that builds strength and endurance, self-discipline and self-esteem, while also teaching self-defense skills. Tokyo Joe's has been named one of the Top Twenty Karate Programs in the world by Sport Karate Magazine.

Thai Kickboxing
Thai Kickboxing is a unique program that is based on realistic Martial Arts. Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a cutting edge Martial arts based on traditional jiu-jitsu combining stand up moves and techniques with grappling. It was a specifically designed for a smaller opponent to defeat a much larger opponent by using leverage, body positioning, and submissions.Originating in Brazil, Vale Tudo is the Portuguese term for “anything goes” and is among the most effective fighting disciplines available. The sport has been made famous by fighters such as the Gracie Family, Marco Ruas, and Ken Shamrock. Vale Tudo takes the most effective combat techniques from styles such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Sambo, Shooto, western Boxing, and Wrestling. Each one of these arts has something to offer, but it is the blending of them that is the essence of this unique fighting system. Training sessions are rigorous and typically last a couple of hours, being split into stamina building, technique development, and skill acquisition through a large amount of drilling and sparring. No one art has it all this is why we cross-train in the most effective combat arts known, so that we may fill the gaps and weaknesses that certain arts may have.

Mixed Martial Arts
Mixed martial arts (commonly referred to as MMA) is a combat sport in which two competitors attempt to achieve dominance over one another by utilizing a wide variety of permitted martial arts techniques in full contact, including striking and grappling. Well-known MMA organizations include the Ultimate Fighting Championship and PRIDE Fighting Championships. Mixed martial arts was originally based around the concept of pitting different martial arts and fighting styles against each other in competition with minimal rules, in an attempt to determine which system would be more effective in a real, unregulated combat situation. Modern MMA competition is an evolution of such events, but rules have been implemented to promote acceptance of the sport, while at the same time maintaining as much of the original no-holds-barred concept as possible.
